Smart Korea Co., Ltd. has secured technologies for the domestic production of pitch-based activated carbon and silicon-based anode materials for Lithium-ion batteries in collaboration with KRICT(Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology) through technology transfer. Our goal is to grow into a company that can proudly compete with world-class corporations through expansion in the materials sector.

Smart Korea is engaged in product development using pitch-based porous carbon for Lithium-ion battery electrode materials, premium activated carbon, and so forth. The silicon carbide-based anode materials are manufactured by the Chemical Vapor Deposition(CVD) method using Silane gas(Precursor). The support is required to deposit Silane gas. Smart Korea is researching and developing using porous carbon for the support of Silane CVD. The silicon carbide-based anode materials are being researched and developed as high-capacity materials for Lithium-ion batteries.
