Individual company presentation

Jae Young Tech., LTD. was established in 2016 in Gumi, Korea which recycles lithium-ion battery scraps to produce Lithium Carbonate. We are the only company that produces 99.5% battery-grade Lithium Carbonate in Korea and we have an economically and highly efficient production process.

JYT’s most distinguished characteristic is that we extract Lithium first. Most of the recyclers around the world extract NCM first and then extract Lithium afterward which leads them to use many chemicals with complex processes. However, JYT extracts Lithium with an environmentally friendly method with simpler steps using its chemical characteristics such as water solubility.

Jae Young Tech has 160 employees under Jae Ho Park, the CEO’s leadership. We mass-produced Lithium Carbonate in 2017, and NCM solution in 2019, and we completed a new factory in 2023 in Gumi and operated 3 factories overall. Our products are battery grade Lithium Carbonate, Nickel Sulfate, Cobalt Sulfate, Manganese Carbonate, and NCM compounded products from recycling battery scraps.

JYT has a yearly capacity of Lithium Carbonate of 2,000 tons, Nickel Sulfate of 4,000 tons, Cobalt Sulfate of 1,600 tons, Manganese Carbonate of 700 tons, and NCM solution of 10,000 tons. We are the first in the industry to receive the ‘Unicorn Company’ title and have eco-friendly, top-notch recycling technology.

[Exhibit Item Description]

JYT's Lithium Carbonate is battery grade which purity is over 99.5%. Nickel Sulfate, Cobalt Sulfate, and Manganese carbonate are high quality compare to competitors. Those are raw material of li-ion battery cathode manufacturers. NCM Solution on the other hand is NCM compound solution that li-ion battery precursor companies can use as raw material.
