Recently, it has purchased a Gunsan plant (6500 pyeong) to expand its CMC line for secondary batteries and is expanding its facilities, and it is growing into a global material parts company through constant technological development.

MicellCMC® is a brand of CMC (Carboxymethylcellulose) produced by GLChem Co., Ltd. and is water-soluble by replacing cellulose's hydroxy group (-OH) with hydrophilic sodium carboxymethyl group (-CH2COONa)/Lithium carboxymethyl group (-CH2COOLi). It shows hygroscopicity like a general water-soluble polymer.
GLChem Co., Ltd. produces MicellCMC® by refining and processing various types of CMC products according to physical properties such as viscosity, degree of substitution, and purity and application of demand companies.
For secondary batteries, we have successfully developed high-purity products and are supplying them to large domestic and overseas electric vehicle battery companies.
