Dawon Chemical Co., Ltd. has patents for extracting valuable metals remaining in waste battery and secondary battery manufacturing process by-products, and is building a pilot production plant for an eco-friendly recycling process. We are pursuing recycling business and related licenses in 2024, and we plan to sell lithium carbonate and ceramic powder as a supplier of recycling raw materials as a closed loop type recycling business.

Dawon Chemical recovers valuable metals from secondary battery waste based on eco-friendly recycling technology. The waste resources currently being recycled by Dawon Chemical include black powder, black mass, and waste sagger, from which lithium compounds, valuable metal powders, and recycled ceramics are being produced.
Our main products are lithium carbonate and recycled ceramic. Lithium carbonate is recovered from secondary battery waste resources based on pyrometallurgical recycling technology, and secondary battery-level quality (purity≥99.5%) is secured. Recycled ceramics are made by recovering lithium from used sagger powder, controlling impurities, and turning it into raw material used in the manufacture of new sagger. Additionally, nickel, cobalt, and manganese mixed powder will be recovered and sold to recycling companies and steel companies.
