The Road to Carbon Neutrality with Hydrogen Cogeneration

Free Webinar

Tuesday, March 16, 2021 | 11am–12am CET | Webinar Language: English

Hydrogen has great potential of storing large amounts of energy over a longer period. With cogeneration, we can use that hydrogen in the most efficient and affordable way when we need electricity and heat. It is the smartest way to ensure that there is enough energy at any time, and it will be key in the roll out of more renewable electricity and electrified solutions. In this webinar, Hydrogen Europe will present the position of hydrogen cogeneration in the European Hydrogen Strategy. Two best practice projects of hydrogen CHPs and hydrogen fuel cells will give insights about the status quo of the technic.

During the webinar participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, both the recording and the speakers' presentations are made available to all registrants after the webinar.

Since 2008, he has been active at 2G in various functions. Between 2018 and 2020, he changed to another industry to gain experience in the field of vibration technology.

Steven Griffiths, UK Account Manager, SOLIDpower GmbH

Steven Griffiths spent almost a decade in the solar PV sector, working for Tritec-Energy, REI and most notably Solarcentury based in London. He started working with SOLIDpower in late 2017 to help support and develop the sales effort in both the UK and Irish markets.

At 33 Steven started his own engineering business and 2 years later started a Joint Venture with a Swiss / German solar panel mounting frame manufacturer. Having come from an engineering, production and design background and holding technical sales roles for almost 20 years within various markets, the temptation of Solid Oxide Fuel cells was too strong a technology to resist. Ever changing and full of promise.
