ees Europe, the continent's largest and most international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems, and InterBattery, South Korea's leading battery show, will continue their cooperation in 2024.
After a successful start in 2023, visitors to ees Europe can look forward to the InterBattery Europe Showcase exhibition area again in 2024, where around 200 exhibiting companies are expected – including renowned industry giants such as Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution and SK On. Last year, 72 companies, 62 of them from South Korea, exhibited in this additional exhibition space.
With the InterBattery Europe Showcase, which focuses in particular on innovations in the upstream sector, ees Europe presents the entire spectrum of the energy storage industry to its visitors. Targeted networking opportunities will also give them the chance to make valuable business contacts.
The InterBattery Europe Showcase will be ideally complemented by the Battery Day Europe conference on the first and second day of the exhibition (June 19–20, 2024).
The upcoming conference will provide a comprehensive insight into the world of electric vehicle batteries in 2024, covering topics ranging from current regulations and the safety of battery materials to pioneering technologies and business trends.
Special attention will be paid to the Korean-German cooperation in the ReLioS network for innovative approaches in battery recycling. The conference will also take a look at EV battery production technologies.
Cooperation partners of the InterBattery Showcase are the Korea Battery Industry Association (KIBA), as well as the state-run Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
