E3/DC, a brand of HagerEnergy GmbH, develops and manufactures innovative solutions for energy storage, backup power supply, and e-mobility. The company, based in Osnabrück, was founded in 2010 as a spin-off from Wilhelm Karmann GmbH and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hager Group, a leading provider of solutions and services for electrical installations.

E3/DC combines the automotive industry’s passion for technology with the forward-looking vision of the decentralized energy transition. Its storage solutions, featuring integrated energy management, are designed to maximize energy independence and enable efficient sector coupling in residential and commercial applications. An increasing number of people want to generate, store, and use their own electricity for household consumption, heating, and mobility according to their individual priorities.

To meet this demand, E3/DC offers high-quality “all-in-one” home power stations that efficiently store solar energy. The company’s proprietary energy management system optimizes the use of solar power and, with its AI 360° function, integrates the battery system, heat pump, and electric vehicle as flexible loads into the electricity market. This allows residual grid consumption under dynamic tariffs to be optimized for maximum cost savings while also improving the integration of renewable energy sources.

E3/DC’s unique TriLINK® technology enables backup power supply from the customer’s own system in the event of a grid outage. The “all-in-one” concept combines the solar inverter, battery storage system, and intelligent energy management in a single integrated solution. Via the E3/DC wallbox, electric vehicles can be charged directly with solar power generated on the customer’s own roof. All E3/DC systems are manufactured in Germany and are sold to private customers with single- and multi-family homes as well as to commercial customers through certified regional installation partners. E3/DC provides a 10-year system warranty with complimentary service for its entire electricity storage portfolio.
