Melina Graner is a researcher at the Chair of Electrical Energy Storage Technology (EES) under Professor Jossen at the Technical University of Munich. Her research focuses on the intelligent control and optimization of modular battery energy storage systems. She specializes in aging-aware operation and predictive control by integrating battery modelling, optimization algorithms, and forecasting methods to develop adaptive energy management strategies.
Her work aims to extend battery lifetime, improve operational efficiency, and enhance system flexibility, contributing to the development of next-generation energy storage solutions.
Melina holds dual master's degrees in engineering and economics from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. Before joining the research domain, she spent two years in the power, oil, and gas industry.
