Start-ups in the Hydrogen Ecosystem - From Idea to Implementation (in English)

Thursday, June 25, 2026

Time
2:15pm–3:05pm

Exhibition -
Room
Hydrogen Dialogue Forum (B2.550)

The session opens with an ecosystem-level perspective on what it takes for young hydrogen companies to succeed and what holds them back. Five start-up pitches follow - from next-generation electrode materials that bring down the cost of green hydrogen production, to a radically new approach to safe hydrogen storage and distribution, to fuel cell systems already powering industrial operations, to advanced coating technologies that improve fuel cell performance, to an alternative production pathway that turns waste biomass into hydrogen using superheated steam. The session closes with a panel discussion on how to move from idea to pilot to market.
