In this 60 minute fireside chat, Florian Mayr (Strategy&) and Tim Meyer (author of the book 'Strom' and energy expert) will discuss how the European, and in particular the German, energy transition is coming along. We will be talking about the industrial revolution of clean technology and why the market in many places has already been decided. We will also discuss battery storage, flexibility markets, the reality of the power grid (from expansion to 'dark doldrums'), as well as Europe's place among its competition in a global context, including with China. The goal is to provide a realistic view into new opportunities, bottlenecks and the next levers for businesses, investors and policymakers.
