To ensure that solar modules, fuel cells and batteries function reliably, manufacturers have to work precisely and cleanly. At its stand in Hall B2, Stand B2.420, J. Schmalz GmbH will be showing how they handle wafers, electrodes, pouch cells or MEA and bipolar plates without imprinting, particle residues or deformation with the help of vacuum technology.
In addition to a large selection of different vacuum components for the automated handling of fuel and battery cells, Schmalz will be demonstrating the handling of structured bipolar plates using a vacuum area suction pad via a robot demo cell live at the trade fair stand. This aligns the plates precisely to each other without damaging their surface.
In the area of stationary energy storage solutions, Schmalz will be showing innovative redox flow battery stacks. These stacks are the heart of a battery system and determine the quality and performance of a battery system.
Schmalz is represented in all important markets with its own locations and trading partners in more than 80 countries. The family-owned company employs around 1,800 people at its German headquarters (Glatten, Black Forest) and in 28 other companies worldwide.
