Paragraf is the first company in the world to mass produce graphene-based electronic devices using standard semiconductor processes. Our patented deposition technique allows us to produce a conductive element comprising a contamination-free, one-atom-thick layer of graphene, enabling us to harness the unique properties of the ‘wonder material’. A spin-off from the University of Cambridge in 2018, Paragraf has raised $85 million over three rounds of fundraising. The company has been identified as a ‘future unicorn’ by Dealroom, was named to TechNation’s Future Fifty and was the top-ranked overseas company recognised by the Taiwan Tech Innovation Excellence (TIE) Awards.
Our line of positional, current and cryogenic sensors represents an enormous improvement over existing solutions with superior sensitivity, robustness and energy efficiency for use in EV/automotive, battery, brushless DC motors and cryogenic applications.
The latest regulatory requirements in battery safety are driving the need for newer, more advanced current sensors. With its two-dimensional nature, graphene-based magnetic sensors only respond to magnetic fields perpendicular to the sensing layer. This provides much more accurate field and current mapping for battery applications.
